Privacy Policy — OmniTranslator
1. Who we are
OmniTranslator is an application developed by KMSystems for text, voice, and conversation translation. For questions about privacy and data handling, contact suporte@kmsystems.dev.
2. Data processed by the app
During app usage, the following data may be processed:
- text entered by the user for translation;
- recorded audio when the user starts voice/conversation translation;
- selected languages, preferences, and app parameters;
- local information related to models downloaded on the device;
- purchase/subscription data, if paid features are implemented through Google Play in the future.
3. Local processing
When an on-device model is installed, the app processes audio, text, and translations locally on the device. In the current version, translation content (audio/text) is not sent to KMSystems servers for translation execution. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.
4. App permissions
- Microphone: used only when the user starts recording.
- Internet/network: used for model downloads, legal links, and potential future features (such as distribution/subscription via Google Play, when implemented).
- Local storage/cache: used for models, temporary files, settings, and operational cache.
5. Local storage on the device
AI models may occupy several GB of storage. App settings and operational data are stored locally. Temporary files and cache may be created during voice and translation usage.
When available in the app, users can remove models and clear cache in settings. Uninstalling the app may remove local data according to standard Android behavior.
6. Data sharing and sale
KMSystems does not sell users' personal data. In this local-processing version, KMSystems does not share translation audio/text with third parties for translation execution.
Third-party services such as Google Play may process their own data when used for distribution, billing, subscriptions, downloads, and platform operations, according to their own policies.
7. Future subscriptions and purchases
If paid features are introduced on Android, in-app digital purchases may be processed through Google Play Billing, when applicable. KMSystems may receive technical information needed to validate a purchase/subscription (for example, purchase identifiers or tokens), if implemented.
8. Security
The app prioritizes local processing whenever possible. However, no system is 100% secure. Users should protect their devices with passwords, biometrics, and good security practices.
9. Children
OmniTranslator is not specifically directed to children. Minors should use the app with responsible supervision and according to applicable laws.
10. Beta versions and closed tests
Beta versions and closed tests may contain bugs and temporary behavior. Testers may provide voluntary feedback by email or other channels, and that feedback may include voluntarily submitted data. Beta features may change before official release.
11. Closed test waitlist (voluntary signup)
If you submit your email on the landing page to join the closed test, KMSystems will use that email only to send invitation and instruction messages related to the OmniTranslator closed test. This signup is voluntary, and your email will not be sold.
Invitations depend on Google Play closed testing flow and the Google account you provide. If you want to participate, use the same email linked to your Play Store account. You can request removal from the list at any time via suporte@kmsystems.dev.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated periodically to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. The date at the top of this document indicates the current version.
