Terms of Use — OmniTranslator
1. Acceptance of terms
By installing or using OmniTranslator, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you should not use the application.
2. Service description
OmniTranslator is a local AI translation application with text, voice, and conversation modes. Android is the initial release channel. An iPhone/iOS version is planned, with no guaranteed release date.
3. Use as an assistive tool
AI-generated translations and transcriptions may include errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. The app is an assistive tool and does not replace professional translation or qualified human review.
4. Critical-use restrictions
Do not use OmniTranslator as the sole source for critical decisions, including health, emergencies, immigration, law enforcement, contracts, legal documents, finance, security, or other high-risk contexts.
5. User responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you submit to the app.
- You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using them.
- You must comply with applicable laws and regulations.
6. Model downloads
AI models may be large and can consume local storage and network bandwidth. You are responsible for internet/data costs, including mobile network charges.
7. Models and third parties
Models used in the app may have their own terms and licenses. You must comply with applicable provider policies and restrictions.
8. Future subscriptions and payments
If paid features/subscriptions are offered in the Android app distributed through Google Play, billing may be processed via Google Play Billing when applicable. Pricing, plans, cancellation, and refunds may follow Google Play rules and applicable law.
9. Beta versions and closed tests
Beta builds and closed tests may include instability, bugs, and frequent changes. Features may be changed or removed before official release. Voluntary tester feedback helps improve the product.
10. Closed test signup
Joining the closed test waitlist is voluntary and does not guarantee an immediate slot, automatic access, or mandatory invitation. Invitations and instructions may be sent by email as the list is organized.
Closed testing is operated through Google Play. You may request removal from the list at any time via suporte@kmsystems.dev.
11. Limitation of liability
KMSystems does not guarantee perfect translation accuracy or suitability for every context. To the extent permitted by law, KMSystems is not liable for decisions made solely from unverified app outputs.
12. Changes and continued use
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after updates may constitute acceptance of the current version.
